The Lords Prayer Matthew 6:9-13 Reed-Kellogg Sentence diagram

I have diagramed the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13 (See below). I have diagramed the adverbial clause “as it is in heaven“ in v.10 to show it modifying the main clause as believes it’s telling us the manner in which the Fathers will is to be done on earth (I.e your will be done on earth just like it is done in heaven). Secondly, I also believe the same thing to be occurring in v.12 (I.e forgive our sins in the same manner as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us).

Look at the sections that are imperative verbs - I believe you have handled the subject incorrectly in "give us this day our daily bread" as "this day" answers "when?". You may want to give the actual implied subject in the parens rather than X but that depends on your conventions and purpose.

Also, what translation are you using? The translation I use has fewer sentences maintaining more of the relationships included in the Greek.

I agree that “this day“ answers when, however, it Isn’t a prepositional phrase and so I’m unsure how to diagram it. maybe you can help? I diagrammed the subjects as (x) because they are missing/implied constituents, but I understand the subject to be “Father”

Agreed. I'm just unsure how to diagram the adverbial phrase (ie. Do I diagram them like prepositional phrases).
