New Logos mobile app update keeps crashing
The new Logos mobile app update keeps crashing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the mobile app four or five times and the mobile app keeps crashing.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A10e smartphone android version 11.

Same thing is happening on Kindle Fire. No problems on Samsung Galaxy M31 though.

I'm running Logos on Android and haven't seen any crashes.I am running Build # 913000422
This is the Beta version that I am running and on Android 13 Beta 1 as well.
Logos 10 - OpenSuse Tumbleweed, Windows 11, Android 16 & Android 14

I'm on a new Samsung S6 Lite tablet, Android 12, Logos version 9.13.0 and I have constant crashes. I've actually lost count and that's just today.
Ironically, my phone is running LineageOS 18.1, Android 11 and completely de-googled and have had zero crashes as I've left it beside me with Logos running to test. That is running Logos 9.12.0.

My Amazon Fire HD-10 Logos app started crashing on me today. I reinstalled it, but it continues to crash.

I am sorry to hear that you have been having difficulty with this.
1. Open the app.
2. Tap the Menu icon (this icon has three horizontal lines).
3. Tap Help.
4. Press “Report a Problem”
5. A pre-addressed email will open with a log file attached automatically. Describe how long you can usually use the app without it crashing, and if anything in particular seems to be triggering the crashes. Press “Send” to send your report.0 -
My Mobile app on my IPad began doing the same thing today. Apparently, there is a glitch within the 9.13 update that they are trying to address with IOS devices. In the meantime, I guess we need to use the desktop version.

You are the only iOS user I am aware of in the forums mentioning issues. It may be good to start a new thread. Explain your issue clearly and provide appropriate details including steps taken.

Could we ask you to help us by testing the Beta version? It was difficult to reproduce the crash so we rolled back a lot of changes to fix the stable release. If you experienced crashes using the previous stable build could you try out the Beta version of one of the Faithlife Bible apps and tell us if it crashes on your device.
To avoid jeopardising your current install you could try out the Beta version of another of the Faithlife Bible apps which includes Logos, Faithlife Study Bible, Biblia, Verbum and Faithlife Ebooks.0 -
Logos is still crashing on my Amazon Fire HD-10 when I open study Bibles to book introductions. This happens with the ESV Study Bible, Reformation Study Bible (2015), NIV Biblical Theology Study Bible, etc. For example, if I enter “Mark” in one of the study Bibles, Logos correctly shows the book introduction for about 2 seconds, then crashes. The crash does not happen when I view study Bible notes for individual verses, only when viewing book introductions.
My iOS version of Logos does not crash when viewing study Bible book introductions - only my Amazon Fire is experiencing this issue. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it, but the problem continues to occur.

Apologies, I just realized I reinstalled the app before the latest changes were made per this thread. I uninstalled and reinstalled again, and the app now appears to be working correctly on my Amazon Fire HD-10. Many thanks!

Definitely still randomly crashing on Android Logos 9.14, Samsung S6 Lite tablet, Android 12.

I also have problems with my app freezing on my android phone. The only way to get it to work again is to force the app to stop and reopen it. It most often freezes when opening a new book or a passage guide.
Pressing the help button takes me back to the app with no sub menu with "Report a Problem."
