Can't turn off strange word highlights
Using Logos 9 Windows app on Windows 10. Somehow, some strange different colored highlights of words in my NKJV pane (seems to be prepositions) has turned on. For the life of me, I cannot turn them off, despite digging deep into the application interface. I've attached a screenshot, with the View Options open. Thank you!

First steps to troubleshoot:
- You have checked that there are no visual filters turned on (the triangle of three balls is the icon to check)
- You have checked that there is no search open creating result highlights
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Expanding on what MJ Smith said,
- In your NKJV resource that has the odd highlights, click the Visual Filter (three bullets in a triangle).
- In its dropdown, expand Notes and Highlights (Corresponding).
- While watching the odd highlight, uncheck each one of these to see what changes:
- Emphasis Markup
- Highlighter Pens
- Solid Colors
- When the odd highlight disappears, check the box again to turn it back on.
- Hover over the highlight (You might need to wiggle the cursor a bit until you see something like "Corresponding annotation from __(resource)__."
- Go to the other resources for that verse to see what corresponds, and erase it there.

My guess was in Settings ... Community stuff.

That would fit better with the "strange" in the OP. My suggestions were definitely mundane.

Can't figure out how to edit my original post (or delete duplicate). This forum's controls are very non-standard (that coming from a very high tech user, going back to BBS's in the 1980's). That said, hopefully the screenshot can be seen below...

Thanks, M.J. I replied to my original post with what I hope is a screenshot that works. Needless to say, FaithLife makes it pert near impossible for someone to edit their own post. Dug and dug and dug to no avail. And that coming from a person who works high tech everyday. FaithLife needs to make this forum's operation much less cryptic.

There is a limited time windows (10-12? hours) for editing previous posts.
From your screenshot, it looks like you have a Visual Filter turned on for the resource
See https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016747431 for details on these and how to check if they are enabled.
If I am correct, once you have identified the appropriate visual filter, you can turn it off from the visual filter menu
Or to quickly check if this is the issue - deselect the entire Visual Filters section (top left checkbox in the area outlined in red above)

There are recognised issues with the forum software.
It is based on quite old technology and while there have been ideas of moving to a different platform nothing has materialised as yet. There is very little they can do to change how the current technology underpinning these forums works.
