Advanced Prioritization - Linking Study Bibles with Specific Translations
I'd like to link specific Study Bible Notes to specific translations on the Passage guide. I'd like for the Passage Guide to prefer certain sets under certain conditions. i.e.
- KJV with The Reformation Heritage KJV Study Bible
- NIV with NIV Grace and Truth Study Bible
- LEB with Faithlife Study Bible
- NET with NET Notes
- Complete Jewish Bible with Jewish NT Commentary
- etc
I've tried what I feel like is every combo of advanced prioritization limits there is to try.
Some things I've done are: Study Bible Notes at the top of "Prefer these resources" list and every combo of type, range, and resource. I've also tried to set the parameters on the KJV to prefer the Study Bible, neither seem to work.
Although my first thought is to just figure I just misunderstand how advanced priority works, I read some old forum posts on the subject where people seem to be trying a similar thing, but I haven't seen any follow-ups on this. Even the Prioritizing page on the wiki seems to suggest it's possible to do what I want (on the section with the NET Bible being linked with the NET notes). If what I'm trying to do isn't possible, I'd at least like to do what the wiki describes and "link" (probably not the right word) certain translations to with certain Study Bible Notes/Commentaries
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Why not just add your Bible and study Bible notes to the same link set?
You could also create a Layout exactly as you want and save it with Link sets in place.

Thanks for the suggestion. In a few cases this is what I do (link ESV to specific notes and run them parallel).
But what I'm trying mainly to accomplish is changing the order of how specific "commentaries" (the study Bibles) show in the Passage Guide in order to only have to work with a single link set at a time instead of having to open and close "multiple resource" view or work with multiple linksets/tabs. I would just use the Multiple Resource view and settle with just one set of notes per translation, but Logos remembers when I have multi resource view enabled and I have to exit out of it each time.Essentially, I'd like to have the text open on the left, and a passage guide on the right, and have the ability to press the left and right arrow and change the Bible translation and see different entries in the passage guide.

I'm trying to understand a bit better what you are trying to do
Even the Prioritizing page on the wiki seems to suggest it's possible to do what I want (on the section with the NET Bible being linked with the NET notes).
This example in the wiki shows how to set things up so that when you click a Blbie reference in the NET notes, it opens the NET Bible.
And it would allow you to do similar things for other study Bibles to the corresponding Bibles.
So this is prioritizing based on resource.
But as a Passage Guide is driven by a Bible reference - and not a specific resource - and so enables you to defnie a preferred commentary for a particular biblical book or passage. This doesn't seem to be what you are trying to do unless I misunderstand you.
Which of these types of prioritisation are you looking for?

Thanks Graham, this actually answers my question. I wasn't so much misinformed by how prioritization works, rather how Passage Guide works. I was unaware that Passage Guide was linked to the Bible Reference rather than translation, I was under the impression that you could have a separate passage guide appearance based off the translation. For example, when I have a PG open for the KJV, my first result would be a KJV Study Bible, when I have a PG open for NET my first result would be the NET Notes, and so on and so forth. It appears this isn't something that's achievable with prioritization. I did however finally get all my translation-specific Notes linked to the proper translation which is nice. I frequent Study Bibles that were written with a specific translation, and it's always bugged me that it opens the ESV instead of that translation.

This is very high on my list of Logos shortcomings on all books that specify a particular translation(s)
