Possible to place a resource link in a note?
I would like to use a note to cross-reference another resource. Is it possible to place a resource link in a note? I've copied the location link, but I can't seem to paste it into a note.

Yes

That's strange. How did you copy it/which version did you copy? The most easy version would be the URL - You can use Selection and Copy, but this will give a citation, not a link. You'd go to the panel menu, then use "copy location as" (preferably URL, which gives a ref.ly-link) and paste that into the note:

Thank you. I was trying to use the L4 link that I've used in Personal Books.

That will work (and arguably look much nicer), but you use it like the chain-link here in the forum: selecting a word or sentence will make the chain link button in the notes editor active, clicking it will open a small entry box where you paste the L4 link, the selected text becomes the link.

Thanks so much. I was trying to get the link dialog by right clicking on the text in the note.

This would definitely make sense to add to the context menu there.

This was great! Thanks so much! Today was the first time that I had attempted to link a specific map to a note and this worked perfected! Actually it was the first time that I attempted to put a link in a note! [:)] Thanks again for the help!
