Sermon Builder Issue - Scripture insertion
I've been using Sermon Builder for about 2 years now on a near-daily basis and this just started happening.
When I type a scripture, in this case Matthew 7.12, I expect it to insert the scripture from my preferred Bible, as it always has.
What it did, was nothing. It just is text that says Matthew 7.12.
I checked to make sure the option was toggled on, and it is.
I've restarted the program and cleared the screen. Same problem?
Has this happened to anyone? Any advice?

Is this in a bulleted list or in a block of plain text?

Plain box of text and it magically started working for no reason.
Very strange as I am quite familiar with this too.
Thanks for the idea though, Graham!

Don't know if this helps... but on my Sermon Builder.... when I type Mat 7:12 and hit "tab key" it inserts the text for the passage....
This does not work in one of headings or slide.... only works in bulleted or other than heading or slide. For me anyway...
You weren't by chance in the heading or in a slide were you?
Edit: Tab key only works when not in bullet or slide or heading. But does work otherwise...

To add to this, you can adjust your settings within Sermon Builder to either allow or not allow scripture insertions to happen when in a list mode.
Also, the original post discussed how Matthew 7.12 didn't insert anything. If a comma is the next character after the reference, it will still recommend the insertion options. However, if it's a period or most other punctuations, it will disable it.

Thanks Austin... I didn't know about the options to change in the "3 dots" menu.... I checked mine for "Enable Scripture Insertion in Lists" and now it works with bullet lists and such.... Thanks, I needed that!!!

I use periods consistently and it always works. I also use spaces between chapter and verse.
And again, it started working again for no reason and I didn't change anything.
Thanks for everyone's suggestions!
