You can try restarting Logos and/or enter update resources in the GO/Command box. If that does not work, upload the zipped log files folder via the paperclip icon.

You should verify your settings. It may be that you have this turned off.

I have it turned off and it tells me there is an update to download and I can click whenever I want. It's very visible so if he had had it turned off, he would know.

Well, it depends upon what settings he has. If he has "download new resources" turned off (which is how you gain a "skinny install,") then there would be no notification.
