Make my on topics in Sermon Builder
There is probably a reason why this is done... but when one creates a Sermon in Sermon Builder... they can enter "Series" and under that is "Topics". FL then only allows "certain topics" to be entered.
1. Is there a reason for not allow users to enter their own topics? Many times the way I choose what a topic is does not fit the "canned" choices that FL gives us... but maybe there is a reason for only allowing "FL topic choices"???
2. Or maybe there is a way to enter my "topic" and I cannot find it??
3. And I realize I am the "only one" that wants to enter his own topics....
Thanks ...

It's because the Topic needs to be in the Faithlife defined vocabulary - the sort of Topic that can be studied using the Topic Guide for example. This enables, again for example, the Sermons section of those Guides to report sermons we have created using those pre-defined topics.
And I agree that it would sometimes be nice to create our own - but, for the moment at least, the only option is to include this in the Description somewhere.

We do have a case on our roadmap to allow users to create their own topics. I can't provide an exact date of arrival for that feature but it's definitely on our list to accomplish.
