When I saw the ad for the Live in the Word event I clicked through and registered. I entered all my data, clicked the Register button, and was rewarded with the message, "Your spot is saved. Now check your inbox to claim your free book."
So far, I haven't received any emails from Logos or FL about this event or my registration.
I checked my inbox, outbox, junk, spam, trash, deleted... every folder in the list - nothing. I've got older message about orders and the few forum posts I've make; that sort of thing, but nothing confirming my registration.
So I registered a second time thinking I may have mistyped my email address
Still nothing the next day so why not try a third time. After all it, works well enough they made an idiom out of it - right? Still nothing. I lost track, I think I may have submitted it once more.
Yes I'm literally the living definition of insanity with this registration form - and it's only four fields! Four fields about myself no less.
I can't be entering it wrong every time.
Enough; I'm won't keep doing this expecting something new to happen. Well ok, once more to get the text of the successful registration for this post but that was it and it doesn't count.
(Sorry FL; hope I'm not using up all your virtual seats for the event.) Don't worry, if I end up with extra ticket's I'll post them on ebay.
For now I'm blaming gmail, but has anyone else experienced this over abundance of nothingness? Have I been rejected for some reason? (insert thological snarkasm here) Or, have you received your confirmation and want to gloat?
