Simon, read the wordings in this link, and it states what is all about:

I had seen this link and so know what it is really about just playing the speculation game.

All I’m hoping for is for my dynamic price to be really low like last time 👍😁👌
In other words, you are hoping for very little change in the content of the libraries. I'm hoping for some new features that require blocks of new resources that we've asked for over and over. Think Justo, for example, or McGinn, or Armenian apocrypha (okay I haven't asked for it over and over ... but I am reading it in dead tree form).
Not necessarily, but when you look at Logos’s history, the changes in base packages has always been minimal. The only time when they offered something substantial was when L4 came out, but that changed very quickly when Baker decided to pull titles from base packages and we were left with a foreshadowing of what L5 was going to offer (maybe Faithlife was going through a rough patch). L9 brought CARTA, but that’s about it, is not like the quality in the graphics department has improved for CARTA to shine in Logos. Most of the other good stuff was included in the expansions, but those can be a hit and miss too. Sermon editor continues to be a disappointment. Not to mention you need a course on coding to perform a decent search 😂 Anyway, I’m not holding my breath, but I do hope L10 delivers some of the features that have been requested for almost a decade now.

Good Morning!
I am still waiting for my prize. Has anyone else had issues with not receiving their free book? I get all the Faithlife emails, so I am sure my settings are correct.
Thanks!

I received an email immediately.
Check spam and then trash in case you accidentally deleted it. I get so many Faithlife emails, sometimes I delete them in batches. If no luck, contact CS and I am sure they will help you out.

I was simply looking at the math of it. The fewer changes the greater the overlap the greater the discount by dynamic pricing.

I agree. Having too much overlap with previous packages making buying the new packages "expensive" because there are lots of unowned resources in the new packages. If only some of the unowned resources are of importance to you, then buying the new package becomes expensive.
Ideally, fewer overlap with the older package + the unowned resources in the new package being of importance to you. A person can dream, right!
I believe in a Win-Win-Win God.

This may or may not apply in your case, but I know that it does for others... One thing to remember: You do NOT have to purchase the same "level" you did before. If you purchased "L9 Platinum," feel free to buy L10 Gold, L10 Silver, or L10 Bronze (assuming they have those same names when released). There is absolutely no reason why you can't do so.

Very good point. There is no reason to stay at the same level .

I guess the question is whether the tool you need will be available in the tier you want. I was a bit unpleasantly surprised in L9 to see that the two levels of tools from past versions became three…

Well and that is true too... unless you have a FC subscription and then you (could!) purchase libraries only. Hopefully that remains the case.

I decided to be proactive and told my rep to email the prices on two tiers the morning of the 10th. I really just want Logos 10 but I am at the point that the upgrade is surely less than even my first base package back in the day.

Does any level of Faithlife Connect enable a customer to buy libraries on their own? i.e. will the most basic level enable this?

I don't know, sorry!

I have received phantom emails from FL marketing that offered special deals on L9 libraries only. I validated them with my regular marketing rep and they were legitimate. I forgot if I ever took advantage of them or not. Ask sales, I'm sure they could work something out.

Yes, I'm thinking the same. I'm down to scanning expansion packages for specific titles, and then wish-listing them for later checking. I also screen copied the L9 feature set dynamic price, to compare to L10's.
