Library filters not working
Clicking on one of the filters in the library has no effect on the displayed resources. It recognises that the filter's been selected, and the number of relevant resources which appears next to the filter description is correct.
If I perform some other action, the filtering comes into effect. For example, if I swap to Store view then back again, the resources shown are successfully filtered. Or if I select a second filter, that seems to force the filtering.

Welcome Paul! [:)] Sorry you are having troubles [:s]
For clarification, let me summarize the issue you are having as I understand it. The library filter will not work properly when you make a selection unless 1) you switch to another software function and return to the library OR 2) make a secondary filter selection. Is that correct?
More info would be helpful. The techies may need logs (see my signature line), and screenshots are often helpful. What specific version of the engine are you running? What specific OS?

I'm guessing the OP is on a Windows machine, but on the Mac, I've noticed the filter panel prioritizes against the server, vs the on-computer library. So if there's any hick-up on the server-side, it'd produce the characteristics described. ... the Store getting another filter copy.

Thanks for the quick reply. Your summary is correct.
I checked out the log reports information. I'll look into providing that information if I have to, but for now I can share that I'm using Windows 11 on a desktop, and my Logos version: 9.16.0.0006.
If you think it'll be of any use, I can record the actions as a video and attach it later.
Many thanks

On both Mac and Windows, the Store tab comes from the server and the Library tab comes from the local library.

9.16.0.0006.
This is the current release, so that is good. I do see that a new beta is about to go to stable channel. However, I have not seen anything about your particular issue either in the forums or in the release notes for 9.17.
I checked out the log reports information. I'll look into providing that information if I have to
At this point, we don't know if the issue is unique to you, or if there is a broader bug. Unless this is a known bug which I am unaware (always a possibility!), then more details would be needed (i.e. logs).

That's interesting, since the filter immediately updates from the server update, long before the library responds.

Opening Library tool, then in left side menu selecting a filter (e.g. language > german) changes the list of resources without any further action needed, selecting a 2nd filter (e.g. type > bible) again adjusts the resulting list of resources correctly.Wolfgang Schneider

Note: this only affects filtering when in Cover View display mode, not Tile View or Details View. With these, the filter works as expected.

Ah! Thank you. We do actually have an open case for this issue. I'll add a link to this thread in the case so that we can post an update when it gets fixed.
