How to Disable - "# people highlighted this." scripture tag.

Ok, this is getting out of hand. In the past it wasn't much concern as there were so few of them. 

In settings I have the features:

Show Community Ratings
and
Show Community Tags

TURNED OFF

But I am suddenly seeing these tags all over the place. 

I had never paid much attention to them because they were so infrequent. 

However, over the past few weeks I am seeing them popup all over the place.

While reading today: Thess 1 - has SIX tags and it keeps going.

Please fix this and/or tell me how to turn them OFF.
