The LSB translation
I know I'm beating a dead horse, but the LSB has been in production since early April. Can someone please tell me the good news and say it will be released sometime in October?
Many people are asking about an update, but the best we get is "we'll let you know as soon as we can" which is as good as saying nothing at all.

I would love this as well!
Maybe the old saying, "No news is good news" would apply here? [;)]

Nobody knows; the silence is deafening. [:O]

Can you imagine if the big announcement on 10/10 has nothing to do with a new version of Logos and is a huge event for the release of LSB [:D]

The lesson here of not being anxious for anything is not being lost on me, lol. I am learning to be content with the numerous translations I have at my disposal, finding humor in my first world problems and struggles. [:D]

You are correct, but I think Logos should say something without giving a definite date just to calm down the crowd of people that are constantly asking.
Blessings,

calm down the crowd
My read of the forums is that "the crowd" = 2 or 3 people who are very interested and a few dozen who will be glad to get it whenever it releases.
Making Disciples! Logos Ecosystem = LogosMax on Microsoft Surface Pro 7 (Win11), Android app on tablet, FSB on iPhone & iPad mini, Proclaim (Proclaim Remote on Fire Tablet).

I prefer that they remain silent to discourage a similar fuss over future resources.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I never thought of that. Thanks.

I think the opposite. Publishing updates on a work as popular as the LSB would not only be good customer service but would also "discourage the fuss" as you put it.

Publishing updates on a work as popular as the LSB
I suspect that many resources in progress are more popular in absolute numbers than the LSB. Pre-LSB figures for precursors.

True. There are many resources that a handful want that the majority have little interest in.

That graph looked kind of squirrelly (western grey). I don't know what percentages it displays, so I can't speak to it. But it looks a lot like 2 more. Now, what's interesting below, the 1st for 2017 is from Statista.com, the 2nd for 2022, from WordsRated.com. Now, maybe I'm a bit jaded, but they all sure look alike. One of them did mention a sample size of approx 450. But it's the night before L10 ... truly jaded, I guess. The missing squirrel was the NRSV??

What? Are you suggesting the data is from 1938 from 3 counties in Georgia? [H] I'll bet reading along with the teacher and preacher on Sunday counted as "reading" too [6]
Factcheck: yes, I know many of the translations listed were not available in 1938 and that Georgia would not be a representative state for the whole country and that not all churches meet on Sunday and that the Sunday School followed by Church is a pattern more representative of small churches and ... yes, it is an attempt at humor to imply that I only consider the statistics as representative of such statistics ... not as reliable statistics.
