Will Logos 9 auto-update to Logos 10 Apple Sillicon on Mac?
If you update from Logos 9 on an Apple Silicon Mac, will the auto updater grab the Apple Sillicon version? Or is it better to uninstall and reinstall from the Apple Sillicon download link? I went to check in the "about" tab in Logos, but it gives a version/build number only, and doesn't tell you if its the M1/M2 version.
Thanks,
Nathan

You can check whether you're using the Apple Silicon version in Activity Monitor. Look for the Kind column in the CPU view. It should say "Apple".

Yes, it will, as long as you are running a relatively recent version of Logos 9.

I just did an update on my 2021 MB Pro with M1 chip. Logos 9 automatically updated to Logos 10. The activity monitor shows Intel for me.

Your screenshot didn't work, I'm afraid. Could you try again (use the paperclip icon, or the orange button).

The same thing happened to me. I fixed it by quitting Logos and downloading the proper file from the web site and running the installer. When it asked me to drag Logos to the App folder, it gave me a warning that Logos app already existed in the folder. I simply chose the Replace option. Now, Logos shows Apple in the Activity Monitor.

Not sure what version of L9 I had. I followed Rick's method above and it is now showing the native Apple version.

Do you have settings on default (which update regularly), or do you have it set up to do manual updates (when you want to update)?
If you have default settings (to auto update), do you use the software regularly with an internet connection?
The answer to those questions would be helpful to know if there is potentially a bug or not.

Will the update to the L10 feature set also provide the Apple Silicon native version, or does one need a full L10 package?

All L10 updates and feature sets include support the Apple Silicon version of the app.
