Off the Chart Speed on M1 Max
Greetings,
I am posting to congratulate the Faithlife team on releasing an Apple Silicone version of Logos/Verbum that seems to take advantage of Apple's speedy microchips. On my 16" MacBook Pro with the M1 Max chip, the app is nearly instantaneous in starting up and opening resources. In fact, it is so much faster than before that I find myself having to adjust as I've grown used to waiting a few seconds before doing the next thing in the app.
Again, great job on the Apple Silicone version! The new features are great, too!
I use Verbum with an 8-Core Mac Pro (2013) and a MacBook Pro (2017)

Thank you! I'll be sure to pass this along to the teams who worked so hard to make this happen for you! We appreciate your kind words [:)]

Agreed!
I did a full reindex of my library before, and after the upgrade, and the results were remarkable. 181 minutes for L9 (on a 2020 M1 - not max), and 99.5 on L10 on the same device.
SUPER happy with it.L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

I agree with the OP. I added a large download of new books and it indexed in no time at all. I first noticed the indexing st 86% complete right after restarting to add the books. Then It was finished less than a minute later.
