Error keeps V10 from running on fresh install
For some interesting reasons, I decided to remove my Verbum installation and rebuild it from the Verbum.com install page. I used the standard setup with the minimal library option. However, it fails to run because it is unable to open a file. What is the logical next step (as opposed to my making a guess)?

Exactly how did you remove your Verbum installation and what version was it?
I'd like to see the full Verbum log (uploaded as a zip).

Oh my. Compared to my foibles, yours is serious. Hopefully, something simple.

I suspect this is a misdiagnosis of the log files; that's very likely an ignorable error.
Please post full logs.

I believe you. I shut off the machine, rebooted, and it worked fine.
Dave, to remove I first used the uninstall Windows function and then removed the entire directory titled Verbum.

Yes, that would prevent conflicts between versions e.g. installing an earlier/older version (incl. stable over beta).
