BUG? Print library on desktop app doesn't match iOS app

I have 6 books in my print library that I scanned using the iOS app on my iPhone.  They also show up in my iPad app:

But only two of them show up in my desktop library.  These happen to be ones that I also own in Logos:

Where are the other ones?  I added these during the beta but didn't check for them on the desktop until now.  Did I do something wrong?

So I tried adding some additional print books (that aren't in the digital library), and they showed up in the desktop library.  But the original 4 missing books still weren't showing.  So I deleted those 4 print books from my iPhone library, and added them back again.  But they still didn't show up on the desktop.  So I added another print book after that (Scripture Alone) using the phone, and it showed up on the desktop.  But those 4 problem books that I added during the beta phase aren't getting through to the desktop.  Is there anything that can be done about that?

Desktop app shows 6 books in print library:

10 print books are in my iOS apps. Ones marked with arrows aren't in the desktop library:

Can you post log files of starting the application, opening the library, then applying the "In Print Library" filter?

Thanks. Nothing obvious stands out to me. It is certainly possible that some bad data was introduced during the beta that we aren't properly cleaning up.

    I recommend deleting this folder: /Users/toddphillips/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/b9k6lboj.lbd/LibraryCatalog/

That contains all the metadata for your library (information about the books, not the contents), and it will be recreated for you the next time you start the application.

Allowing the application to recreate that file should clear up whatever issues were going on. You'll see a working indicator in the top right of the library panel while the library information is being recreated. Please let me know if this clears things up.

I removed the LibraryCatalog folder on my Mac and restarted (twice -- the first time some windows were giving errors, so I restarted again to make it clean).  The Library still shows the same six books as above for my Print Library.

I also have an installation on a Windows 10 laptop, and it showed 10 items when I opened the library to Print Library, but the four in question didn't have data ("Loading..."):

So I deleted the LibraryCatalog for the Windows install, and after rebuild, it only shows the 6 like the Mac version:

    Success!

I was able to fix it by using the Desktop's "Add to Library" function to add those 4 books by manually searching for them, instead of re-scanning them with the iOS app.  The desktop sync must have overwritten the records that iOS had created, because now both iOS and Desktop show 10 Print Library books.

Although, because there are two slightly different entries for "Saving Leonardo" in the Add-To-Library database, the one I selected on the desktop was not the one I had selected on iOS.  So I had two entries for Saving Leonardo showing on my iOS app until I deleted the one that wasn't showing on the desktop.

Oh good! I'm glad you got that straightened out. Please let us know if something like that reoccurs, as it would indicate a problem that isn't tied to possible beta issues.

Bumping an old thread, as apparently this problem has not been fixed. Same issue: I added 10 books to my Print Library by scanning with either my iPhone or iPad (some with each). Only 2 of them showed up on the Desktop, yet all 10 showed up on both the iPhone and the iPad. Tried relaunching the Desktop, as well as deleting the LibraryCatalog folder (suggested in this, or another similar thread). Neither solved the problem. Ended up doing what the earlier poster suggested: manually adding the 8 missing resources using the Desktop "Add to Print Library" button.

Given the number of threads on this forum reporting the same problem, it seems like an issue that deserves some investigation from the development team. My specs below:

Desktop: Logos 26.0.21, full feature set. Apple MacBook Pro M1 Pro, macOS Ventura 13.4.1.

    iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16.5.1: Logos 26.0.0 (0035).

    iPad (7th Generation), iPadOS 16.5.1: Logos 26.0.0 (0035)

Jeff, i was chatting with some of our mobile developers and we were wondering if we could get you to upload your `LibraryCatalogSync.db` from your logos desktop install. Once selected, compress it and choose the paperclip icon to upload the file.

The path should be similar to the following: `/Users/YOUR_NAMEl/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/o044mjw4.px2/LibraryCatalog/LibraryCatalogSync.db`.

Note: o044mjw4.px2 is arbitrary and will most likely be different for you. I recommend navigating to the documents folder and then manually selecting the remaining items in the path.

Thanks, we'll take a look. We'll post back here once we have an update.

Is there any update on this issue? I am a new user. I installed Logos on one windows computer and added a bunch into my print library. After installing on another windows computer none show up.
