REQUEST: Bring back iOS dictionary lookup
With the new text selection menu, there's now no way to access the built-in iOS dictionary lookup when selecting a word in a book or Bible.
Can you please restore this crucial functionality ASAP? (If possible, please also enable the newer iOS-builtin Translate feature for words also.)
Should we start a Feedbear request for this?

Is the goal to just find a definition of the said word? If so, you can select the word and then choose the Bible Word Study option which will direct you to a details page of that word. One item at the top will be a definition as well.

Thanks for your response, Matt. That could be a temporary workaround (I haven't tried it yet), but it's sooo cumbersome compared to the iOS built-in dictionary lookup function! PLEASE bring that functionality back, especially for those of us whose first language is not English and have been relying on dictionary lookup everywhere else on the iPhone. Thanks!

We are hoping to bring back the iOS Dictionary Lookup feature fairly soon! We had to do some additional work when we built the new selection menu, but it is on its way [:)]

Thanks very much Ali! That's great news!!

Yes! That would be wonderful. I too used the simple iOS dictionary a lot in my seminary reading. One of the reasons I purchase my books in Logos, as opposed to print books where I’d just skip past unfamiliar words.

Thank you for bringing this functionality back in the latest mobile beta app, and better and stronger with translation capabilities too!
