Is there any reason to do a clean install vs. an upgrade?

I upgraded to Logos 10 (+1 it's a great upgrade visually and feature wise), but I'm wondering after years of running Logos would it be "cleaner" to completely delete Logos and reinstall? I wonder if there are wasted files, etc over years of running Logos and it might save some space. For example, according to one thread the BibleIndex (I think that's the name?) folder can be deleted after upgrading.

So is it worth it to delete and install from zero just to clean things up? Or is it no difference?

I understand that the 10.1 upgrade (in a little under six weeks) will probably delete it automatically.

I don't think that it's worth it to delete and reinstall.

Depending on your history as regards subscriptions and returns, you may wish to run the Delete Unlicensed Resources command (in the GO Box) to save some space.

Otherwise, unless you are experiencing issues, I'm not sure that there are any commands worth running or files or folders worth deleting.

If you have been reading a lot of threads on the forums, you have probably noticed that some pre-10 visual filters have been causing difficulties.

If for whatever reason you decide to run diagnostic logs and then examine them and find a bunch of errors, someone on the forums could probably tell you what file/folder to delete to fix them.

It can be deleted manually --> \Logos\Data\random\BibleIndex

You can also delete \Webcache and \WebBrowser from that folder.

You can Rebuild Index to clear the entries from resources you no longer have.

Thanks - I also deleted those. Since I'm on a Mac, for anyone else looking for these folders there are in the {user name}/Library/Application Support/Logos4 folder
