How to recreate Visual Filter
To ensure I have not performance issues with Visual Filters, I have deleted some of them (old search constructs I assume) and created them new. I was not paying attention to my NT use of the OT - allusions, quotations, etc. visual filter syntax; so I had to recreate it from memory.
I recreated a search that seemed to match the NT Use of OT Interactive, but the search takes about 5-6 seconds - does this look correct and optimized, and will this be a mistake to have this Visual Filter active on my system? Or is there a more efficient way to do it these days?
intertext:(relationship:"Quotation" AND target:bible:"Matt-Rev")
(similar for Allusions, Echo, Citations, all in 1 VF)

A more efficient VF would be
For OT
intertext:source:bible:Genesis
For NT
intertext:target:bible:Matthew
Just have one for each book of the bible instead of four. It does take a bit for the VF to kick in but there is no noticeable slow down after it's been enabled.

If you test it as a Books Search, you will see that each Gospel book takes about the same time (1s for me), but Mt-Jn is more efficient (1.1s for me) and Mt-Rev only took 1.5s!

That is definitely better for general purposes and searching, but I like to have a custom highlight show me which book is specifically targeted. As far as I know, the only way to do that is to have a custom highlight for each book to go along with its individual search in the VF.
