FL: When did L9 become a different program?

Trying to relax with a glass of wine under my sukkah, but alas, they are demolishing the home next door to me (almost a year and two months since Ida cut it in half with an old oak) and the racket is infernal. Indifferent

Anyway, I noticed earlier that Mobile is quite a bit different and I'm rather surprised by the change. The differences are pretty drastic, in some respects changing things so much I'm not sure how to do what I'm used to. Perhaps it is all for the better, but I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned anywhere that I can see.

I have not upgraded to L10 yet (waiting to move to a more friendly tax environment), so I can't directly attribute the changes to that. Has L9 "benefitted" from some of L10's upgrading?

L9 Mobile bears only a mild resemblance to the program I was using a week ago. I'm asking why that is so. Multiple features have changed. Appearances have changed. Locations of details on screen have changed. WHY? Considering the significance of the changes, which could easily be considered an overhaul, I'm also wondering why there hasn't been any mention of the changes as far as I can tell.

What build number were you running, if you know? What build are you running? Have you compared the changes you are seeing against the change logs i.e. iOS Release Notes (logos.com)?

My ipad is running a regressed 10.0 app (features removed); my Mac is running a 9.x (haven't updated in maybe a year). Look the same, except:

- v10 links are A-C with followers, and icon visible per resources (Biblia AA settings messed up)

- Layouts are up to 4 per panel, with little layout icons

- Selection menu was pretty'd up, removing tired old typo reports. Does re-sort the palette as desktop does, now.

Else pretty much the same (not counting pay-for features).

Library still title-sorts the first 50 or so user-titles, before it reverts to default titles. Plus, new ones ... locking up tiles if outside another tile's range, etc

Oddly, yes, it is now 10.0.0...very odd. I never ran Mobile beta, so not sure what or why, but I guess I can play around with it. Probably by this time next week I will have made my L10 purchase so it's just a minor advance.

Oddly, yes, it is now 10.0.0...very odd. I never ran Mobile beta, so not sure what or why, but I guess I can play around with it. Probably by this time next week I will have made my L10 purchase so it's just a minor advance.

My guess would be that the mobile app always automatically upgrades to the newest version, minus the advanced/paid features.

Yes it does automatically update. My android does with Logos even though I have disabled auto-update. I have it turned off to limit when updates occur. I find Logos actions disappointing.

On iOS, the updating process has nothing to do with FL. I assume that Android is the same and that FL can't "force" an update. If something like that happened on iOS it would be because of either 1) the user settings, 2) a manual update (by mistake), or 3) a bug in iOS.
