Print Library split between print books and Kindle books?
Hello
I would like to identify my Print Library books between those in print and those in kindle so that I know where to find them! Is this possible?
Thanks

I use tags to show my kindle books. Here is a video I created showing how I do this.

I use the tags "kindle" and "paperbook" (and one I have with "ePub")

Great idea!

Thanks James.
However I am even more surprised that you have all those icons linking to apps. I will have to investigate how to do that!.

Great idea
...only until a sizable number of users have tagged their offline books, so that the tags automatically propagate to all other users as well.

how would that be since you can differentiate between mytags and communitytags

Here is a quick video I just created to show how I get all those external links on my Logos 10 Toolbar. I hope this helps.

Thanks for this! I knew I could add links to websites and documents but I had never tried full folders or applications.

James, this is the best Logos tip I've seen for a long time!
Now the challenge will be not to overload my toolbar.
Thank you.

Thank you for this, James. Does anyone know how to do this on the macOS version of Logos 10? I can drag a web link to the side menu, but clicking on one does not open the browser. I have not yet figured out how to link to applications, either.

Thanks James. That was helpful!

how would that be since you can differentiate between mytags and communitytags
I always thought mytags propagate to be community tags once enough users tag a resource with the same mytag. I can't find any specific documentation now on how exactly the process works.

I don't think so. Community tags will only propagate once enough users have used that mytag, but still, in my Logos, mytags are mytags. If I find community tags helpful, I may use them to set mytags - but I may decide differently (e.g. the community may have as "free book" something I paid money for prior or after it was free, the community may have something as "fiction" that I tag as "biography" or vice versa). Nothing forces me to tag a resource as "kindle" that many have there, while I have a paper book - or, again, vice versa.
So, community tags are just another bit of information about a resource: a number of users tagged this in this way. It doesn't take away my ability to tag completely otherwise.

Thanks for the video. Getting my print and kindle books into print library is on my todo list. Thanks for the tag suggestion. What are doing with Kindles Highlights? I see that in toolbar as well.

I've found it. I need to drag from the padlock icon to the sidebar first, then drag from within Logos to the favorites section.

THANK YOU!!
I had dragged files to my L9 taskbar, but never thought of dragging an APP or a Directory. With "Dead Tree", "Kindle" & "PDF" mytags and "Print Resources" showing in searches. My libraries are coming together!
