Please Vote here: Add "Settings" option to Translation Section of Information Panel

Since many more reverse interlinears are being added for Logos 10, the Translation section of the Information Panel will get very crowded for those of us who own lots of bible translations.

Add a Settings option to the Translation section that allows us to de-select translations we don't want to see.

This will allow us to control how many and which translations show up there without having to completely remove those bibles from our hard drives.

Also, please vote for these additional RIs (since FL chose to add an RI for literally every bible under heaven except these):

    Hi Kiyah,

I'm not sure I understand what you're referring to. Can you please show us a screenshot of what's looking crowded now?

I probably should have included that in the feedbear request:

    I see, Kiyah. I've voted.

I didn't know that section exists in the Info panel! (Haven't used the Info function in a while.) Learned something new today, thanks!!

Would this already be handled with the way do collections and prioritizing of them?

xn = Christan  man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

Barney Fife is my hero! He only uses an abacus with 14 rows!

No, we currently have no control over what shows in the Translation section unless we completely remove the translation from our hard drive (either by leaving it in the cloud or hiding the resource). However, if they added a Settings dropdown we could select a collection or a tag, or select individual translations with a check-box, similar to how Text Comparison works. It just depends on how they implement it.

But in addition to all the translations shown above, the following translations either have been or will be added to my Info Panel because of my Logos Full Feature Upgrade and Verbum Bronze Upgrade:

    Already added:

    1. NASB 2020
    2. NIV84 - Anglicised

    Will be added:

    1. NRSVue
    2. REB
    3. NEB
    4. NCV
    5. CJB
    6. TLV
    7. YLT
    8. Darby
    9. BJL (Spanish translation)
    10. LSB (once I buy that translation)
    11. NASB 1977 (if I buy that translation)
    12. Passion NT (Really Faithlife?!?!)

That's A LOT of translations. I'm thrilled that FL is expanding their RI collection, I just don't want my Info Panel to become unmanageable since I use it a ton. And I still hold out hope that one day they'll see their way to producing RIs for the CEB and NJPS. I would love to be able to remove translations like the Passion NT, NCV, CJB, TLV, and others to make room for the ones I will use.

Too lazy to try it, but would leaving the Bibles in the cloud keep them from appearing?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Yes. I mentioned that above. But I don't want to have to do that since I might actually want to open those bibles sometime or use them in the larger Text Comparison Tool.

Logos should let me control what I see in that section like it does in the Definition and Word Info sections in the Info panel.
