er ... ah... Tes, I doubt very much that FL will see it in this thread. There is no reason for them to return to this thread as there is no bug to pronounce fixed. And, Tes, Faithlife is not ignoring your request ... it simply is not prioritizing it. Just as it is not prioritizing what I see as a fatal flaw - the inability to easily see the Bible text in the translation specified by a text.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thank you MJ for your kindly response , but the problem is the translation of Amharic which is from google is helpful though it is not so good translation . It has many errors many times it gives completely wrong translation. Up to now I have used it as a personal book ,but it is limited.

Hi Tes, we are not ignoring you. As you have seen, Andrew B. responded to your request in another forum thread. I suggest keeping that request in the same forum thread.
Thank you!

First of all they are different requests. You are not ignoring me personally what is ignored is the inclusion of Amharic Bible and Tigrinya Bible to Logos Bible soft ware. I have requested it since many years again and again. You can prove it by referring to the threads.

Ah, gotcha, Tes! Thank you for the clarification. And I see that you have voted in Feedbear, as well. We will consider your suggestions for future improvements. Thank you for your feedback, Tes.

Thank you Ali . Geez is the ancient language of those Regions . It has been used as a referal of Ancient translations. It can be useful not only to the native language speakers, but to many who are interested in comparing scripture in a Variety ways.

I had already voted for these in solidarity with Tes in his impassioned pleas. I know that Faithlife is aware of the request and is likely weighing how they can justify the expense of producing it based on how many users they estimate would buy it. Now that they are refocusing their core efforts on the Logos Bible Software (from having been spread too thin in too many areas, and having pulled out of the church management software category), maybe they'll be able to revisit this decision at some point. I still think it remains a longshot to hope for though, since they don't likely have many Amharic/Tigrinya/Ge'ez speakers/readers among their user base. Yes, others perhaps would be interested in them for original document study. But if the company itself doesn't have an understanding of or personal value for these languages, then it's going to take a lot more than 8-11 users voting for this for them to take notice.

Please don’t hijack this thread 🧵 It went from a word of praise and encouragement to Faithlife for their great job on their web app to a whiny request that already got an answer in another thread. It’s rude to do that! Sorry Tes not meant in a harsh way, brother 👍

"whiny" is definite a strong word..... As far as I know, FL has some restrictions on how to use the forums.... but "whiny" I don't believe is there. Let it become FL forum and let the control it ... and let us be the users of it.... Please!
