How to tell what Logos package I have?
How do I tell what Logos package I actually have on my pc?

actually have on my pc?
Don't think there is such an animal. In the About Logos/Verbum, there's a base-package, which presumably is the last purchased.
But 'on your PC', they never implemented 'how purchased' or 'when purchased'

Exactly the reason for my question... on "About Logos Software" it shows "base package" ... which is confusing...

What do you mean by "Logos package?" - the chances that you have a single, pure package is slight for those involved in the forums. "About Logos" will give you the feature set and the "highest" level package you've purchased. For more information on the package(s) you have, you need to scan order history. Or you can see what packages offered on Logos.com are marked "owned".
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks... the url from PL gives the info. But "About Logos" on my windows machine does not.

Ah, yes, I'd forgotten that L10 change.

I think now this page in your image is differentiating between those who own an L10 Feature Set vs. an L10 library only vs. Feature Set + Library, which is made necessary due to Connect subscriptions. For instance, you could have:
Connect Subscription (which would make the first dot green, but the second two yellow, because the feature set is not owned, but rented)
Connect Subscription + Library only/No Owned Feature Set (Green, Yellow, Green)
No Connect Subscription, owned Feature Set + Library (Green, Green, Green)
No Connect Subscription or owned Feature Set or Library (Software shows L9/not sure what the other two show...yellow for no L10?)
It seems to simply provide a quick look at what you own in general in regards to Software Version/Feature Set/Library, but as MJ pointed out, most people now own many base packages, so listing them, or even the highest package if you have multiple at the same level, is no longer practical.

But when it says I only own the "base package" when in fact I own a higher package ... well... it seems misleading somehow???
And if I click on one of the arrows under the "Base Package"... it takes me to an advertisement for some other package... Which tells me that somehow... it knows what package I have.. but just doesn't show it.
This is just false information isn't it?

No, but I can see where the terminology is confusing. Every package is considered a "Base Package." Think of it not as the "Basic Package," but as the package that forms the "base" or core of your library.

I have a Connect subscription with feature set only. I own my books. Here's what it shows:
I never knew what the green dots meant, and didn't know the dots can be non-green...
I did not know how it would show the features under a Connect subscription. This makes sense. When owned, it gives you the level that you owned, like "Full Feature Set."

Nice tip of the hat to version 10.1...

I think it must be something of a quagmire for Faithlife in deciding what to display here. It would be interesting to see what their decision tree looks like. [:S]
E.g., I've had a Connect subscription since it was offered, but I've also purchased the feature sets I've wanted because I may stop subscribing to Connect. If I stop subscribing, I don't want to find myself suddenly limited to the last features I had ever purchased--perhaps from several years back--and having to either do without the subscription features I've become accustomed to, or cough up a large chunk of change to buy all those features that Faithlife had added since my last "Features" purchase.
Prior to Logos 10, I've always purchased the "Full" feature set, along with Faithlife's "Standard" Gold package and some lower level denominational packages. But I felt the Logos 10 "Full" feature set was too expensive for the features I wanted, so I opted for the "Standard" Silver package (library and features). Since I also have a Connect subscription, I have access to the "Full" Logos 10 feature set, but I only own, the features in the Silver package.
So what exactly, should Faithlife display when I go to the "About" help screen in Logos? I've included a snapshot below of what it shows I have, but is it entirely accurate? Not if the only distinguishing factor is the color of the dots based on whether features are actually owned or just subscribed to. The only remedy would be to list which features I own and which features I only have access to via my Connect subscription. And while I suppose Logos could show the highest-level package purchased, it could still leave people confused if they purchased multiple packages but only one is listed, and/or if they had purchased higher level packages in previous Logos versions than what they purchased for 10.
So, to quote Monk, "It's a jungle out there".
