Hi JR--Really sorry for the trouble; thanks for taking the time to report. It would be a huge help for us if you could reproduce the issue following these instructions: https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027869132-How-to-Enable-and-Submit-Log-Files ...
...and get us your logs. The link above suggests emailing customer service, but you can just upload your logs here in the forum; I'll lookout for your response and we'll dig in more as soon as we get those details.
Thanks,
-Ronny

Oh, and here is the "sample" report just in case it is useful.

The attached log files do not seem to include the crash. That can happen if the app is reopened after the crash, before zipping the logs, because the new run of the app will overwrite the log file. Could you repeat the crash again, and capture the logs before restarting the app?

I followed all the instructions and closing or reopening the app is not the cause of the blank report. I will try again, but this is not my first report so not much else I can do on my end if the app is not working correctly.
One thing I can note is that I upgraded to Aventura 13.0. I forgot to update my signature line so its possible the crash is related to lack of comparably with Ventura.
And just in case your app has again failed to log the error, here is a video of me walking through the steps https://youtu.be/W7kxxzA5uGM

Thank you, and sorry for the trouble this is causing. In the video it looks to me like the app freezes or hangs, which could be why I'm not seeing the kind of error in the log I've been looking for. I've reached out to developers with more experience in this area to take a look at your logs and video.

Thank you for the video. Since this is a hang and not a crash we don't have anything in the logs. If you use the "Sample" button in the logging utility instead of "Archive Logs" it will take a sample of the process so that we can hopefully get more information about the cause of your hang. If you are running and Apple Silicon based Mac, please make sure you have the latest version of the logging utility (1.1.2), which can be downloaded from here if needed.

In my reply above I attached both the Logs and the Sample. Have you checked that file?

Yes, I did. Unfortunately, it includes a sample file, but it is effectively empty because the version of the logging utility you are using is not compiled for Apple Silicon. The latest version that I linked to in my previous reply has been updated as a universal binary so that it runs as a native Apple Silicon application and can properly collect a sample. Thanks for you help in tracking this issue down.

J.R.,
Thank you for the reports. We were able to reproduce this bug running with Ventura, using 110% program scaling and the using the "collapsed left nav" bar. However, the hang disappeared when the nav bar was either in the expanded mode or set to "top", or if we were using a scaling that wasn't 110%.
While we work on providing a fix for this issue, I think you might be able to work around the problem by running the app at 120% (or 100%) scaling, or by using a different nav bar configuration. (Though, I would guess that there still might be scenarios you might find a hang at 110%)
Best of luck!Matt

The good news is that if I open up the side menu bar, I can run a search. I will have to do this for now until the bug gets fixed.
Thanks.

UPDATE: if I use Logos in Full Screen mode it hangs up again even with the left menu bar expanded.
