BUG: Copying text from resources into Notes does not include Bibliographic citation info.

This is unacceptable by any standard. When a passage from a resource is highlighted, copied, and pasted in Notes, there are no citation details included. How is that possible? I can understand wanting to turn that off in certain situations, but the default OUGHT to be to include such details, because of a little thing called plagiarism and a user's need to avoid it. Oh, btw, this USED TO BE the default, so once again, a once useful and essentially necessary function has been dropped from the program. Is it deliberate?? An oversight?

Perhaps the ability to turn this on is available somewhere in the program, but I haven't found it, so if it is available, then its hiddenness is a bug all its own.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about. In the pic below, I highlighted and copied the passage I wanted to include in my Note.

I immediately switch to my Note panel and paste the passage into my note and get this:

Notice...NOTHING to indicate which resource this was taken from is included. WHY? WHY? WHY? Logos used to do this very obvious and necessary thing. If you notice the text above the highlighted portion, it may sound familiar, but where in the Bible is it found? Maybe you know its Colossians 1, but you get no help from the program, since it again refused to include any details. Until L9, Logos ALWAYS included such details, but now it doesn't. I hoped L10 would correct this, but it hasn't. Please address this issue SOON.

The only way I can keep the reference from showing is to go to Program Settings and turn off the references.

I'm new to LOGOS but I totally agree. The missing citation details are not acceptable.

Is that Mobile? It doesn't look like my Mobile screen. Ah, I see I posted this in the Web app forum by mistake. Figures. Anyway, talked to a guy in CS yesterday...said he could get bib info when he pasted. Told him I was on a Galaxy Tab...then said he could replicate the issue. The "solution"? He sent me an email with a link to FeedBear. FEEDBEAR!!!!!! I've never been so insulted in my whole life. I'm supposed to post my "the program I've spent ten$ of thou$and$ of dollar$ on has quit doing things it used to do for years and it is preventing me from getting any work done--PLEASE HELP" request to a platform where I have to depend of other users to upvote my "the program is broken" concerns in order to get attention and possible relief??? OUTRAGEOUS.

I have $6K of Collector's, three Portfolios, two Diamonds, and a Gold in my cart, but that sure as hell ain't happening. I'm very, very close to demanding a complete refund for the whole ball of wax. In the last 2-3 years I have easily spent at least 100X as much time reporting bugs, fixing disastrous note snafus, and begging for help than I have doing constructive study and research. Yesterday I intended to spend the day doing some relaxed, easy study and instead I spent nearly the whole day reporting bugs. I am so, so, so, so tired of begging for help from this company only to hear my own echo fade into the ether. Friggin' FEEDBEAR! [:@]

I know this aint the answer you want, but you need to use a computer for this sort of research. The inclusion of citations in copy/paste has not been a feature of the mobile apps.

As JT mentioned, we have never supported citations through the copy/paste action on mobile. I'm sorry this is upsetting you, but Feedbear is the best place to be directed to if you would like to see this feature make it into the app in the future. We organize and prioritize every Feedbear request, so your feedback will not go unnoticed.

Not to pound on you, since I know you're basically a messenger, but this isn't really a feature  (which needs to be requested) so much as it is a bug that needs to be squashed. Not having citation info paste along with copied matter is pretty irresponsible. It just is.

Er ,,, ah ,.. that depends upon the specifications for the implemented feature ... something that as users we have no access to or knowledge of in most cases. I think this is a case of eisegesis. However, I agree that it SHOULD be a feature and second the request that you add it to Feedbear.
