Would like to see in Logos....
I would like to see "<>" arrows in the table of contents of all resources to be able to collapse or expand Table of Contents sub headings. And especially for Personal Books where some PB could have more than 2 columns. This would help in being able to scroll to a Heading 1 quickly.

Something else I would like to see in Logos....
Is to have ability to "format a screen" when screen is on 2nd or 3rd or 4th monitor. Maybe that could be put on the top bar in Logos and then when a resource is opened in a floating window and moved to another monitor where there are other resources already openee there.. then one could click on the "format screen icon (shown below)" and automatically format the screen. Oh yeah...
I know I'm not the only one using multiple monitors...

Another thing I would like to see in L10... is the ability to add my own topic to "Topics" in the information of a Sermon Builder.
So I build this sermon and the "canned topic choices" that I have in the "Information" screen under topics... just do not fit the topic for this sermon. Which means I have to arbitrarily use one of the "canned topics"...
I would like to be able to add my own "Topics" that depict my way of thinking and my ideas instead of having to walk in another man's moccasins.
Yep.... would love to see this in L10! Thanks! [8-|]

In L10 currently.... if I have a resource such as a "Reverse Interlinear" it is associated with some version of the Bible and I have to open that version of the Bible and then use the "omega icon" to open the R.I of that Bible... And it opens at the bottom of my Bible kind of like a footnote.... which you have to "scroll' to read and it doesn't keep up with the page of the Bible.
In WordSearch, I could open a tab with a Reverse Interlinear in it and also open my Bible in another tab... side by side. This way I can read the two together ....
I would like the ability I had in WordSearch of displaying my resource of Reverse Interlinear in a tab or floating window or displaying it full screen like the Greek Interliner does now.... in addition to or instead of displaying it at the bottom of my Bible window.
Edit: And I cannot list any Reverse Interlinear in my library as they are associated with their versions of the Bible. When I look in Logos.com... it shows the Reverse Interlinears and the Interlinears that I own...but I cannot list them in my library...I think, I should see all the resources I own....Just like Logos.com lists them.
Thanks. [8-|]

Graham.... No not aware.... I called Logos Support and they specifically told me I could not do it....
How do I do it?
Edit: I am aware that I can show an Interlinear inline.... but I don't know how to show the Reverse Interlinear inline or on another tab.

How do I do it?
In a Bible with a reverse interlinear:
- Click the dropdown button just to the right of the Interlinear button
- Select the Inline Reverse Interlinear option
And then if you open that section you can choose which "lines" of the RI you want to show
but I don't know how to show the Reverse Interlinear inline or on another tab.
This enables showing the RI inline with the text but it doesn't provide the ability to have the RI in another tab.

I understand. But what does checking the box at the bottom of the drop down do? I was thinking that the top box checked for an interlinear and the bottom box in the drop down was just for the Reverse Interlinear...
I see now.... that it is only to display a R.I. in one of two ways.... inline or at the bottom.
Thanks for pointing it out!!

Are you aware that you can have the RI open "inline" as opposed to at the bottom of the screen?
Graham,
since we are talking about this point ... For some reason, the RI opens mostly (by some kind of default setting?) in the bottom pane in my Bibles, but I'd rather use the inline option with some specific setting as a kind of default.
My problem? I seem to have blinders on and can't find the place where to change the setting to my particular "inline" as a default ...how could I achieve this for all my various Bibles with RI feature?

Wolfgang- I think your problem is that you have the top inline Reverse Interlinear UNCHECKED. Check that box and uncheck the last box in the drop down and that may give you what you want.

Mine just seems to know. I had to find an RI I'd never opened to see the default (inline); else most recent use? Anyway it's been years since I saw the bottom ribbon.

Not quite ... the problem seems that I have to re-check the inline box and re-uncheck the pane box every so often, as the settings seem not to be remembered.

In the same session, L10 seems to remember to what I changed the interlinear settings, but when using interlinear again some time later or in different Bible, it's "back to the pane"Wolfgang Schneider

IIRC the interlinear settings are "per Bible". I have not had a problem with them not being remembered within a Bible except occasionally on a beta version or another release of the Bible resource.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Yep, and a random pain (with layouts vs Bible TOC panels). If I use a Bible in a layout (or more than one), and open one to a TOC (or from the library), the next layout load, everyones' TOC is open. Even the multiview version. Thanks, Logos!
Can't imagine Wolfgang's trials.

Now, I went through all my German Bibles that have a reversed interlinear feature and one by one set the interlinear options to "inline (with just main text and Greek base text) and no pane.
My findings:
- As long as I closed and opened Bibles while in the same layout and Logos session, all Bibles remembered this setting when I re-opened them.
- When changing the layout, the Luther 2017 reverted to the pane rather than line setting, or else showed both pane and inline.
- After closing Logos and restarting the software, Luther 2017 opened with the pane; all the other Bibles opened with the interlinear inline setting from before.
Thus, it seems that perhaps the Luther 2017 Bible is "buggy"??
EDIT: I think I found the source of my problem => Apparently at one time when I made and saved my layouts that included the Luther 2017 Bible, the Luther 2017 had the interlinear pane setting activated. The layout thus retained that interlinear setting for this resource. When I manually changed it to my preferred inline setting, it was remembered in the Bible as long as I was in that layout and session. However, the setting was not saved in the Bible within that layout because I did not specifically save/update the layout, resulting in the old setting being loaded with the layout when starting Logos again.
After saving/updating the layouts of which Luther2017 was a part with the corrected interlinear setting, that Bible also "remembers" ! No buggy resource, but "me, oh Lord" assuming something and not saving the changed (change in interlinear setting in one of the Bibles) layout.

It sounds more like the layout remembers the setting. It's possibly worth to set your layouts to your liking and update them.

I would like to see in L10.... to be able to colorify the headings in a Passage List document. Along with that I would love to be able to "right click - insert" a passage anywhere in the Passage List document.
As it is ... we have to enter the passae at the bottom of the document and then move it to where we want to use it (maybe even across many "heading" in the document).
These two additions would be a major help to the Passage List document... I think. [8-|]
