To extract the images of the book covers from the library

Hi,

Many years ago a Logos user had made a software that allowed to extract (among other information) the covers from the Logos library. This program is obsolete since version 8 of Logos, I think.

However, I used to use these covers in the realization of a mind map outside of Logos and so I can't do it anymore.

Does anyone have a solution to extract the book cover images from the library and not just the information in a spreadsheet?

Thank you for your participation and your answer.
Unfortunately, I can't really copy and paste book jackets from several thousand books.
Since the images are certainly included in a library data file, the previous software I mentioned did the extraction job very well.

That was Mark. I think he pulled the blobs from the app database, and converted them.

I can point you in the direction:

Open the Catalog.db at ...\Logos\Data\random-id\LibraryCatalog
Select the Images table.
Select the BLOB data under Image
Your SQlite Browser might then show you the book image and allow it to be exported
RecordId is also the primary key for resource data in the Records table.
If you know SQL, away you go.

Thank you Dave for taking the time to respond.
I opened the .db file using DB Browser for SQLite.
The images have to be downloaded one by one unless I know a script code that would allow me to save them all in a "Lambda" folder (e.g. E:\DocumentsLambda) assigning them their default table ID name.
But I don't know the SQL script that would automate this procedure. [8-)]

Thanks Dave, I understand that.
And that's where the software that the Logos user designed for the earlier versions came in!
I understand that the designer of that tool is gone but his work has not been taken over by anyone else apparently.
