Arrows on Tabs bar behaviour
When I have more tabs open than can be visible, I get little arrows that allow me to scroll left and right on the Tabs bar. But clicking on the arrows only moves the bar incrementally. This is very frustrating as I often have to click it a few times to get the x to close on the final tab.
Wouldn't it be better to move all the way to the left or right, or even to advance it to the next tab?
Or allow the mouse wheel to scroll?

Yes. And more yes.
A complaint for more than a decade. There was also the accidental arrow click > close tab.
I'm guessing you're on Windows. But on the Mac version, a 2 finger swish quickly moves all the tabs. I never use the dangerous arrows.

Yes, I'm on Windows and sadly this is not a feature [:(]

I assume that it IS a feature, provided you have the right imput device. Other forum members will need to chime in.
I have a Surface pro, so I have a mouse, trackpad and touch. I can't figure it out.
Again, all that needs to be added is the ability to scroll the tab bar with the mouse wheel or trackpad.

That might be part of the problem. Logos is not configured for touch, so remove that from your considerations. Your best bet is to use the trackpad. Place the cursor over the tabs and try various swipes. You might want to explore track pad settings and update drivers.
Hopefully a windows user will be able to confrim, but I am fairly certain this is a feature on windows if everything lines up right.

If it exists in Windows, I can't get it to work.

I find it no longer working on Mac. There may be a bug. I will create a new thread and see if we can get to the bottom of it.
Here is my new thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/211770/1234301.aspx#1234301

Can you take a look at this thread and see if it is relevant? https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/changing-tabs-using-the-track-pad/72f46a87-be1c-457f-bb6b-09515f5b2a480 -

This is indeed very very annoying! I hope FL will fix this very soon!
I'm finding that even with just 7 tabs, that annoying little arrow always appears, and it's always on top of the "X" or the edge of the last tab. I click on it once or twice, it disappears and the last tab shows in full. But then, a tiny left arrow appears on top of the first tab!
So it looks like the calculation of when to show the tiny scroll arrow is just off a little bit. The software could also easily have shrunk one of the 7 tabs a tiny bit (or even by hiding the shortened name), and it would have avoided needing to show the tiny arrow most of the time.
And all of this only happening in Logos 10, because they decide to show the "X" on every tab all the time.
Such basic UI design errors, such a basic feature... SO ANNOYING! PLEASE FIX IT!

I guess I have a bad sense of humor, but I alway imagine the 2 users at Faithlife (we know there's more than 1, but can't be many victims) having the same issue. Month after month. Year after year. Decade after .... well it has been over 10 years.
OR
The 2 users at Faithlife only open a few tabs. Month after month. Year after year. Decade after ....
It is sort of a character flaw in the designer. I think we were discussing the hebrew words (2) a couple weeks back. The Sense Lexicon was similarly entranced.

Cycling through tabs is not an option.
Thanks anyway.

I right click whatever part is showing and select "Close this tab". Even if you click the X, it is just as likely to open the tab.
And all of this only happening in Logos 10, because they decide to show the "X" on every tab all the time.
The X was part of the tab in Logos 9, but hidden, and the little arrow would be absent when Logos 10 decides it is needed (same layout, same machine).
So I agree that the L10 UI is at least one step back from L9.

I really like the tab management in Chrome. I hope Logos will adopt a similar approach.

Yes, agree with Armin. A dropdown menu consisting of:
- Currently opened tabs
- Recently closed tabs
- Ability to search tab names
