BUG: Swipe between tabs

A forum member was asking about swiping through tabs and I assumed it was a feature on windows. He was unable to get it to work. I subsequently tried on my Mac and find it no longer working. Is this a new bug? Feature removed? 

For clarification: I am talking about when a pane has too many tabs to show. My practice was to use two fingers to swipe between tabs (i.e. to move like a rolodex). This is no longer working. 

EDIT: I am having troubles editing this post... I have discovered that it IS working on my mac (just needed to add additional tabs). Does anyone know if this works on windows with the right imput device / drivers / settings?
