Issues with dash in search term
Example:
Searching for "ben-hur" (with dash) only yields 4 results (all of which have a dash). However, searching for "ben hur" (without dash, incorrect) yields plenty of results, which all seem to have a dash too (I've not gone through all of them though, of course).

Thanks for the report! When double quotes aren't strictly needed, we match case. We will reconsider whether double-quoted hyphenated words should match case.

A perfect example of why FL should provide detailed documentation of the search. There are many, many quirks in its processing that cause results to not be what is expected.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I always thought that double quotes mean exact search term (like with Google), and case sensitivity could be toggled with the button in the top bar.
I wonder how many searh hits I've missed so far. I almost always use quotes to get the most exact results...

"People of Israel" would correspond to that description if your "exact" means that it won't match "Peoples of Israel" whilst it could match "people of Israel" depending on [match case]. However "People-of-Israel" won't match "people of Israel" as the hyphenated words are case sensitive.
People-of-Israel is an alternative to "People of Israel" but it will match "Peoples of Israel" depending on [match all forms].

I've just searched for Ben-hur no quotes and got 227 results, all of which seem correct!

If you "ben hur" and "Ben hur" and "Ben Hur" or any variation with hyphens then it is correct (but it is case sensitive, so you might only get "Ben hur".
