L10 - No longer Search while Offline?
I've never had problems searching while offline in Logos desktop. Today, was offline and just kept getting an error message in the search. When I did get online, search worked fine with no problems.
I did restart logos, still no search capabilities while offline.
I mean, all my resources are auto downloaded to my desktop (macOS) and running Logos 10.0.0.0240, searching should work, right?

Yes, the should work. Please run the application offline again, collect logs files, and post them here. Also let us know what kind of search you are trying to do. A screenshot might work well (use the paperclip button to attach a screenshot).
Instructions for logs can be found here: https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027869132-How-to-Enable-and-Submit-Log-Files

Here you go - log files won't load for some reason.... But I can keep trying.... two screen shots loaded fine. Basic top bible search on two words or one word. I think they are up there now?
Thanks for the help.

Hi Rog--We believe the issue you're seeing is re: fuzzy bible search, which is an online-only feature. Fuzzy view was presumably the last view you selected while you were still online, and the panel remembers this and is trying to execute a fuzzy search again when you attempt a new search in the same panel, which fails if you've lost the connection.
We should really handle this scenario more gracefully (e.g. make sure you have the option to switch to one of the views--like the 'Passages' view--that won't fail just because you don't have an internet connection; we'll look at improving this in an upcoming release. In the meantime, if you find yourself in this situation again, you should be able to close the search panel and open a fresh one; the new panel will default the bible search to the 'Passages' view, which will not fail even if you've lost your internet connection.

We had fuzzy search in the past, which worked off line
May be we could have a light version of the on line tools
Not everyone as internet access available all the time

Fuzzy Search has never worked off line.

This incarnation, or the one with "Libby" back in the day too?
Woe there! (Or whoa, as the case may be.)
Libby does 'fuzzy' offline and has for all eternity (measured in software years). And it's interesting how it was built; technically not 'fuzzy' ... more synonymy-ish.
I hadn't tried out the Logos version for a while. I tried out "Love them that love you." (motto for voting day, of course). Best I can see it's a counting issue ... maybe off the concordance database.

Touché.
Since it was re-introduced in Logos 7.

Thank you. That did work. I closed the search panel and reopened and voila! It worked. Thank you.
