Logos 9 not working on Apple Air M2 with 8GB RAM
My Logos eats up memory. At times it says it needs 44GB of RAM and stops working within a few minutes of opening up Logos. It does not matter if I have only 1 thing opened like just the Bible. Right now I cannot use my logos at all to prepare sermons. I even talked to Apple support about this issue. Any fixes?

HI Robert,
I had no problems running L9 in Rosetta on my M1 MBP. Logos 10 runs natively on M1 and M2 chips and it is faster. Perhaps an upgrade would be my best suggestion as it appears the Rosetta function on your Mac is having difficulty with L9.

The system is MacOS Monterey 12.6.1. I contacted Apple and they think it is a software issue with Logos because it is a new platform. I want to get L10 but until I can use it without using so much memory, I will wait.

Please enable logging on Logos and post your logs to this thread using the paperclip icon (see the link in my signature). This is unusual. Most people were fine with L9 on the M1's & M2's w/Rosetta. The Logs might reveal what is going on under the hood.

As Levi suggests, logs are needed. He is right that most users on Apple Silicon (like me!) had no Apple Silicon related issues which caused the kind of issues you are experiencing. Furthermore, L10 is optimized for Apple Silicon, which should help things. However, your issue may be unrelated and the issue may persist until we find out what is going on "under the hood."
