Search Bible for:

You got multiple answers that will give you different counts. Do you want:

number of times an individual with that name is mentioned by name?
number of times an individual with that name is mentioned by name or other phrase e.g. father?
number of times an individual with that name is mentioned by name or other phrase or pronoun?
number of times an individual with that name is mentioned by name or other phrase or pronoun or implied by verb?

Do you wish to include in the count times they are a member of a group that is mentioned, e.g. disciples?
Or for your purposes, is simply the number of times FL has chosen to use the tag for that individual sufficient for your purposes?

May I add another one? If you want a sorted ordered list of the biblical person's name, number of occurrences, within narrower passage.

If the number of people in the passage made it practical I would:

Do a search based on the LN range to get the names used in the passage OR
Use the Biblical People section of the Passage Guide to get the names used in the Passage OR
Use the Concordance tool to get the names used in the passage THEN
Build a person.name OR person.name search argument... for all the names and count the results. (or one could run a search on each person.name search term separately and keep track of the counts)
Or use the referred to as section data and manually count ... which allows for counting personal name only, personal name + other appellations, personal name + other appellations + pronouns, and personal name + other appellations + pronouns + implied subjects.
