Logos 10 System Releases
I have been using Logos practically since they first came on the scene and I recently upgraded to Logos 10. I love the improvements, etcetera, However one problem exists that is really bugging me. This is the lack of ratio between gray and white on the Logos page. It was fine in Logos 9 but is terrible in L10 and makes it difficult to negotiate the program. Others have complained about this also.
From the info I was able to gather this problem was known at the beginning and was supposed to have been corrected before L10 was released. This was not done and has yet to be done
So here's my question - Every day when I bring up Logos, I check the update status. It's in the lower left of the Logos program screen.. Currently it says Logos 10.0 SR2. It has said Logos 10.0 SR2 for at least two weeks! To my way of thinking, it means that no improvements or bug fixes have been made in that period.
I have called Logos twice recently. Both times I reach someone to whom English seems to be a second language! I'm sure they can give me no information regarding L10 system releases.
Can anyone? Presently I am advising my friends and associates to NOT upgrade to L10 until Logos shows some interest in bringing it up to par.

Logos provides updates every 6 weeks, unless a major flaw is involved.
I have not noticed the issue you describe as a flaw. In fact, I don’t know even where to find it. I use the program daily and have no problem navigating or us it daily.

Updates are typically on a 6 week cycle... which many people complain about because it is too frequent.
"SR" means "service release." Those don't <always> happen, but when they do, come between the six week cycles.

Faithlife work on a (roughly) six week development cycle so we should expect to see 10.1 ship about six weeks after 10.0.
Service releases are typically only shipped to resolve crashes (potentially those affecting lots of people) and potentially performance issues.
There are typically weekly beta updates and we are currently on 10.1 beta 3. The release notes for these are in the beta forum:

So work is happening, bugs including crashes are being fixed, features are being updated / added.
But I know that doesn't help with your particular issue - and I have no knowledge as to when it might be addressed.

Kenneth, apparently not all monitors are affected by this. The gray / white ratio affects the lines and boxes on your screen making it easier to tell where you are on your screen. As I said, it was fine in L9.
JT, Six weeks? What a long time to wait. Especially as Logos KNEW of this problem prior to L10's initial release.

Not a bad idea. The problem with upgrading is, it's not easy to go back.
Sort of like driving down a road with nails strown about. Logosian: 'No problem for me ... must be your car!!'

Gerry, have you tried changing the panel background in the Program settings? I know it won't solve the problem but it might help making it less problematic.

Just to check I understand the problem.

I think there may be some confusion. The problem that you're reporting here (grey areas appearing to be white) is NOT one that we have had reported previously.
There were some issues in the beta where specific elements were missing a border or shadow and were therefore hard to see. We fixed some of those before release, and have done an audit to ensure we find and fix the rest.

I can see a difference in the resource panels when I select 'gray', but my problem concerns the entire program; wherever gray is supposed to be shown.
Give me a control that will change the gray wherever it's displayed all over the program, not the resource panel.
By the way, both monitors are Samsung 27", bought at the same time.

Mark's suggestion of calibration should do this.
