TEXTUAL SEARCH (HOW TO VIEW GREEK AND ESV?)

I know I am probably missing something obvious but...

With L9, when I clicked the NT link in the "Textual Searches" category of the "Bible Word Study" tool, it would generate a Morph Search with all the passages for the lemma in a new window with two resources: NA28 and ESV...

With L10, I now only have NA28...

I can manually change it by adding the ESV, but isn't there a setting or a view that will automatically put NA28 and ESV in two columns?

Thanks in advance!

You need to enable multiple resource display

This is outlined in the article at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017808111-Bible-Search#Results

    Got it. Thank you!

    Follow-up:

Here is a screen recording of my process. As you can see I fumbled around to figure out a way to get the window to refresh with my multiple view resources. My questions:

    1) Why doesn't the Morph remember that I want to open with Multiple View - do I have to enable that every time (doesn't seem to be user-friendly, if so)?

    2) Why does it show two instances of NA28?

    Thanks for your time.

You have a box with NA28 ticked and one with ESV ticked.  Untick the box for NA28 since that is the resource you are searching.

    Thanks!

That solved the multiple instances of NA28...but I still have to go through the clicking of the multiple resource icon, the dropdown, the selecting of ESV and then clicking back in the window.

Seems like previous versions of Logos either remembered the multiple resources used last or had a default you could set for morph searches to default to multiple resources if you wanted that.

    Is this new with L10?

Yes - and there have been requests for the old-style behaviour to return.

I believe this is being looked at by Faithlife.

You could make collection (call it "NA28-ESV" or whatever) and include those 2 resources in it; then mark the box "Show in parallel resources")

Next, in the NA28 resource open the parallel resources option and select this collection as what to use to display and save this configuration.

Clicking on Parallel resources then displays just those two resources

Perhaps this helps to achieve what you were trying to do ...

Thanks. It seems to make sense. I appreciate the time and detail.

I'll keep the "clicking the multiple source" icon approach I have been doing and hope that Faithlife will return (or create) the function for the Morph Search view to remember or default to including multiple sources.

    Thanks again!

Not solving your problem, but when faced with that issue, I use the 'Send Searches Here' option in the search panel, in my layout,  to retain my settings (including multiview).

Of course, this assumes your searches are repetitive and don't bounce all over the place (by type, etc).

Also, to make things convenient, I also mix/match the multiview BIbles, so there's all languages included (eg english, greek, hebrew, etc).
