"Some search results may be missing...."
Whenever I open a search window of any kind (other than Clause and Syntax), the banner right below the Query textbox that says, "Some search results may be missing or incorrect while your library is being updated" persists indefinitely. These searches return nothing from my resources. Running "Rebuild Index" did not help.
In contrast, I jumped onto my other PC and everything updated and reindexed within minutes and worked just fine.
So how can I get rid of the yellow notification without uninstalling and reinstalling?
TIA

Upload some logs. Use the paperclip icon.

It looks like indexing never gets to 5%. Even if I run Rebuild Index, it never gets to 5%.

So here's what I did:
I removed all my resources from the PC. (I normally DL everything.) Running searches, IIRC, was successful. But I want local resources. So I redownloaded them.
A bit later, I was pleased to see the message was gone at the top of the search window, but searches still returned no results from my library.
At this point, I re-ran "Rebuild index". I was pretty excited when it got past 4%. In fact, it continued for a few hours.
But patience and persistence paid off and now searches are granting correct results. Yippee. I'm curious if there was a way to force reindexing without removing all the resources. Maybe a command like "Rebuild index - I'm serious, too!" would be a nice way to get past whatever error was stopping it just past 4%.

Deleting the LibraryIndex folder is serious (in \Logos\Data\33mkcdnw.hpc)! It forces the rebuild of a database that Rebuild index assumes to be correct.
Please upload logs again as I want to check if some other errors have gone away.

I figured as much but not being sure where it was, I didn't want to unduly cause any more problems.
Here's a new log file.

Try again, Lew. "The folder is empty".

That's weird. Anyway, here's another attempt.
Thanks!
That is the same log as previous one. Start Logos with CTRL key held to generate a new log.

I did. They look different to me. But here's another batch.

This is different!
Some errors remain, so delete the following folders:
- CloudResourceManager
- UpdateManager
- DownloadManager
from \Logos\Data\33mkcdnw.hpc
they will be restored when Logos is restarted.

Interesting. Some of those errors have been around since September (L9, of course) and never revealed any noticeable symptoms. Anyway, the folders were rebuilt fine and there were no errors when I restarted (with logging) today. But then again, I'm not sure they won't show up again or, if they do, if it matters.
Thank you for your help!

My logs for Verbum and Logos reflect a low volume (5) of potential updates and transitions (Cloud), so I regard a large volume of messages that persist over different sessions with suspicion even if they appear to do no harm, because it is wastes processor and network time.
