Read Aloud cause crash MacOS 13.0.1 and Logos 9.17 SR-1 (9.17.0.0018)
Read Aloud crashes MacOS 13.0.1 and Logos 9.17 SR-1 (9.17.0.0018):
Worked with tech-support this morning. They remotely worked on my computer deleting all the logos app and its directory files. Then did a fresh install; however, the second I hit Command and R, to have it Read text Aloud the app crashes again.
Anyone else have this or know of a fix? Running latest of everything on a MacBook Air M2.
Thanks - Ben

I ran the logs and sent them to support. Hopefully, they can find a fix. I use the Read Aloud feature a lot. Before installing a fresh app the software would crash when using system narrator. However, if I used it with a book that had its own narrator like the ESV, it would work normally. Now, after fresh install both cause the app to crash.

Found the cause of the crash. For some reason if Siri voices 1 through 5 are used as system voice within spoken content menu, the Logos app will crash upon selecting read aloud.
However, if you use any other voice like Kate, or Ava, Logos read aloud works fine.
To find this setting in MacOS Ventura go to Apple>System Settings>Accessibility>Spoken Content>System Voice.
