How do I open a specific notebook in Notes from the Command Box? I tried Open {Document type} named {Document name} but that seems to not work for notebooks.

Your question is an interesting one. However, I don't think you can query the Go Box in this way.
I'm probably going to tell you what you already know. You access your Notebooks either by searching Documents under the heading Notebooks or you initiate a Search from Other in Your Documents.

This is why I was wondering why we can't open them like other documents from the Command Box.

Agreeing with you. However, it defaults to Search All. An irksome tease is that if one enters Documents or Your Documents it will open under Tools a Show Documents and from there you may complete your query.

Like you, I expect this to work. It used to. Not sure why we've lost it. I miss it too.

Thanks for the report. This is not currently possible. I've written up a case to fix this.
