10.1 (10.1.0.0041) is now available

The Logos Bible Software desktop application version 10.1 is now available to all users.

To immediately update to the current stable version, enter the Update Now command. Otherwise, the app will automatically update the next time it's scheduled to check for updates.

    Are these font names supposed to look like this? They have .tmp file names. (Verbum 10.1.0.0041 on Windows 10)

    Hi Kiyah, we haven't been able to reproduce this issue in-house yet. Have you installed any custom fonts on this computer?

    Not that I'm aware. Could it be pulling in fonts installed by another program? I haven't installed anything new recently.

    If you go to Font Settings (search for Fonts within Windows settings), do these .tmp fonts show up? If they do show up, I would be curious to see the details, which could help us determine if this is related to our font changes.

    I clicked on them. They all just say 24 points, the full name, and version 1.0. Except for this one. This is the only one with any metadata.

    From what I have read this appears to be an Adobe Acrobat -related issue. Do you use that? Some have reported it gets fixed by navigating to Acrobat's Preferences>Page Display>Toggle the "Use local fonts" settings (this setting may be different in the latest version of Acrobat). Others have reported uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat Pro DC fixed it. Others reported clicking on 'Help' and then clicking 'Repair Acrobat Installation' fixed it (again this could be from an older version of the software, seems this was mostly reported a few years ago.)

    In any case, this seems to be a well-known Adobe Acrobat issue not a Logos one - you may want to experiment with Acrobat, assuming you use it, as I suspect these fonts are being read by Logos from the font cache area and Adobe appears to have updated it with the tmp files.

    This seems to have fixed it. I had to restart my computer for it to take effect. Thanks!

    When I mirror cast to my tablet and use touch or pen touch on the side bar(home, library, layouts, etc) and on other tabs logos will freezes momentarily and won’t register what I touched. Other touch controls will work and some won’t. I’m not sure if this issue is known, but it’s been doing it since I used logos 9 and I currently have the latest version of 10. Hopefully this bug can be fixed next update or sometime soon. I‘m using latest version of windows 11 pro and mirror casting to a galaxy tab s7plus. If anyone need more info or if this is the wrong thread please redirect me to the correct one to post this. thank you all.
