English UI on a non-English OS

Hi,

I'm not sure where to post this. The computer I happen to have Logos installed on has a Spanish Windows XP OS, but I want to use English in the UI, reports, etc. Right now, many items in menus, reports and so on appear in Spanish. Is there an easy way to change that behavior?

Thanks, and sorry if I am missing something obvious, but I can't find any program preference to do it (like I do in Logos 3).

Are the "many items" you refer to things like Bible references or Strong's numbers? If so, we'll be fixing the program (probably in Beta 3) so that everything is consistent: you won't have some items in Spanish and some in English.

If not, can you post a screenshot, please? We haven't localised the program into Spanish yet, so it's surprising to me that part of the UI would be in Spanish.

As to an option to change it, 4.0 will probably be U.S. English-only, with localised UIs following after launch. We'll add the options to switch when there is something to switch between.

Well, aside from some items in context menus, like Strong's number, and Bible references in Search boxes,  whole reports appear in Spanish (e.g., Bible People). As you can see in the screenshot below, I cannot write "Mary." Only "María" works!

Thanks for the update--I had forgotten that much of the Biblical People database has been translated already. We'll be sure to check this when verifying that the UI is all in one language.

Thank you, Bradley. The real problem is not the fact that things are being localized, but rather that there is a strange mix and, sometimes, one cannot even use English when the OS is non-English. Hopefully this will be addressed so that we can control the UI language at will, choosing from among any of the available languages at will, irrespective of the language of the operating system.
