I am using Logos 10 on Windows 11 and have been a Logos user since Windows 3.11. Some time ago I created a layout for my devotionals and put all the devotionals I read regularly into the layout to open them (I hoped) to today's devotionals each time I opened the layout (which I named 'devotionals').

It opens all the devotionals but not to the ones for "Today", but always open to the date I created the layout.

Is there a way to open devotionals in a layout to the correct day ("Today") when it is selected?

I don't think so. When a calendar devotional is opened from the Library, it opens to "today." When you save a layout with the resource in it, Logos assumes that you wanted that location saved (which is one of the purposes of saved layouts).

I do know that some calendar devotionals have a "today" link in the TOC. Clicking on it takes you to "today."

Perhaps a better solution for you would be to create a quicklink folder with the devos.

I believe you can do this - using the Quickstart Devotional Layout

Try setting up the layout you want and then Replace the Quickstart Devotional layout with yours.

Then whenever you open that layout, I think you should get the devotionals opening to the correct day.
