Notes' lists only 30 of my tags in "Filters" column; is it possible to get a full list?

Hello!
Is there a way to see a complete list of the tags I've created? I'm trying to avoid creating similar tags. I'm able to get a partial list under the "Filters" column by choosing "more" at the bottom of my list of tags --- but this list will only show up to 30 tags, and no more.
I'm using a desktop version of Logos 9 on a windows computer.
Thank you!
Maria

Hi Marie
I see MJ suggested you start a new thread on this topic - thank for you doing that.
But I'm sorry but this is currently a limitation.
You can search for them and they will show up - but the 30 limit is hard-coded at the moment
I don't remember any comment from Faithlife suggesting this is going to change.

Thank you, Graham!
I'd better make a plan then, and decide on 30 comprehensive tags! I'll try to find posts where users have shared their plans for organizing their notes.
Thank you again.

If you click on the magnifying glass in the sidebar, at the top and type in the tag you are looking for, it will show up in the facet list so you can get all your notes associated with that tag whether it is listed or not. I checked my list of 30 tags and searched on a tag not listed and it showed up so I can click on it and get all my notes with that tag. See the screenshot below, I typed background at the top of the sidebar after clicking on the magnifying glass and that tag showed up for me to select even though it was not one of the 30 automatically displayed.

Thank you, yes, I had read this elsewhere. My main worry is my memory...since I can't remember exactly what tags I've created over the past year, I'm very likely to create new, similar tags, and end up with a very haphazard system in place. One solution is, if I go over 30 tags, to keep a list of them as a note. But that's a bit cumbersome, as I'd have to check the list each time I want to tag a new note. For now, I think I'll try to limit myself to only 30 tags. Thank you for responding, though! [:)]

I know that this is an older thread, but, maybe it will help someone else. I've started using tags with a main category followed by a sub-category.
example
Topic-Alcoholism
Topic-Law
Topic-Grace.
Doctrine-Baptism
If I can at least remember the main category, it helps me see a list of possibilities without the overwhelm just by searching "Topic" or "Doctrine" Then I don't have to remember the specific name.

To be honest, I wasn't aware of this limitation until now. I'll try to find out the reasons for it.

For anyone just now seeing this post, please go vote for this feature on Faithlife's feedback site...

Many thanks, Mark, for looking into this. It would be great if the Desktop App could be extended with the same (or similar) functionality as the Mobile App.

Hi Mark,
Wondering if you have had a chance to check on this issue. Any update?
Thank you so much for your focus on customer experience. Appreciate that.

Adding "more" buttons to page in extra tags would be a fair bit of work, due to the way it was initially built. That's on our backlog, but we may not get to it soon. But we should be able to change the maximum from 30 to a higher number (perhaps 100 or 150?), so it would at least be less impactful. I've asked the developers if that's possible as a temporary fix until we can add paging.

This would be excellent. I don't really need paging.

Oh, yes, having the option to view 100 or 150 would be SO freeing!! I would definitely benefit from this!!

Thank you so much, Mark, for taking the time to check on this. Much appreciated.
I've started adding tags only recently and I'm probably already over 100. That is because I use separate tags for every topic and separate tags for every level of subcategories. I don't know how difficult it is allow 500 tags before the long-term fix, but the more the merrier.
I have 2 follow up questions:
1. Can I confirm that there are no limits to the number of tags we can create?
2. Is there a way to export tags so that we can scan them easily to ensure that we can do some periodic cleaning up of tags that have been mistakenly created for the same topic.
Thank you so much

Thanks a lot Mark for quickly incorporating what you promised. Much appreciated.
I’m wondering if it is easy to incorporate a Tags feature available in Mobile on to Desktop. I have 1000+ tags. In my iPhone, when I enter a tag “Affliction”, all the tags either starting with Affliction or within the Tag’s name come up. I can then pick the right one easily. This feature is unfortunately not available on the Desktop. Is it possible to get this into Desktop? [Without this feature, right now, when I’m using the Desktop, I look up my list of Tags that I maintain in an Excel file and copy-paste the right one from the Excel file to Logos Notes to ensure I don’t give different tags for the same Topic/Theme. This is a big pain. Having the same feature that is available on Mobile in the Desktop version would be super helpful to me.
Thanks for listening to our feedback.
