LOL, I'll buy that. 😊
I guess I'll have to be a Calvinist theologically and a provisionist economically. [:D] [:D] [H]
😂😂😂😂 Reminds me of the predestination joke debate (someone claims this actually took place in real life). There was a guy who believe in predestination and the other one didn‘t and they decided to have a debate. Once they gather for the debate, the guy that believe in predestination said: “God chose me to be here tonight, just like he chose every single one of you to be here to witness this debate. He even knew I was going to eat this apple during this debate tonight on this very day!” As soon as the other guy who did not believe in predestination heard that, he quickly jumped on the desk, grab the apple and ate it and everyone laughed and….the debate was over 😂😂😂😂

The story I heard was in reference to Lyman Beecher as cited here: https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/entertainment/books/1981/09/20/a-great-american-family/b642716d-4a49-4d64-b175-045f1a4f6063/
The Washington Post relates:
Once he agreed to exchange pulpits for a Sunday with an Old School minister; when their carriages met on the road, the other pastor saluted him, "Doctor Beecher, I wish to call to your attention that before the creation of the world God arranged that you were to preach in my pulpit and I in yours on this particular Sabbath." Beecher said, "Then I won't do it!" promptly turned his buggy around and returned to his own church.

😂😂😂 Let me add that to my repertoire o illustrations 👍
JT, you left out one word, "yet."
Doesn't seem right to have the rebuttal without the original. I would eagerly vote for including "Chosen But Free" in Logos.

Yep. The whole deal would make great sense. I looked for the Geisler work in my library and thought this would be a non-starter.
