Search agreement on exact punctuation

Is there any way to force a search to agree on the exact punctuation?

For example, I tried today to search for the exact expression "purpose-result" occurs in a particular Greek grammar book. I did a Book search in a particular resource for "purpose-result" (in quotation marks), but it returned matches to "purpose, result", which I don't want.

Another example, would be if I want to find a word or phrase followed by a question mark.

If I use the Ctrl+F Find command when the resource is open it matches the exact punctuation, but the Search panel does not.

It though that this was possible in the ancient Libronix version of Logos. There used to be an EXACT operator, which morphed into [match exact], but neither seem to work any more. It appears this feature was left on the cutting room floor somewhere along the way.

    No. Punctuation is not indexed.

    No. Punctuation is not indexed.

I understand that punctuation is not indexed. But if I put a phrase in quotation marks, I would expect it to look for the exact phrase, including punctuation marks. Once Logos finds an a particular word collocation, it could then easily verify with the text to find the punctuation, if that is included in the search expression.

I am just brining this up as a suggestion to improve the search.

"Intra-word punctuation has always been indexed."

Actually that wasn't what I had remembered, but maybe there just was no need to discuss intra-word punctuation before.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

If you understand the first, then it follows that your expectation will not happen. The Search would have to scan the resource looking for punctuation and that would be much slower.

There is a difference between "purpose-result" and "purpose result" that you can experiment with, though.
