Image zooming
By the way, I've been looking for an option to zoom into images for a very long time, especialy those images with very small printing in them. For example:
My workaround has been exporting to PowerPoint, where zoom is easily possible. Am I missing something or is there really no zoom option?

Some do; most don't zoom.
The clue when they do, is to click on them. One of my sale books zooms this time.

I don't doubt that, but I've now spot tested about 20 resources with images, and none of them was zoomable...
Anyway, I'll stick to my workaround then.

I was wondering the same. Seems it should be an easy process following normal computer methods.
The only thing I noticed was on many of the things I would like to zoom it has Overview | Actual Size | Fit at the top. Changing to Actual size zoomed the image for me. I am assuming you are dealing with an image that does not have that?
In the end, I don't feel I get much benefit out of images because they are not easily viewable.

Yep.

That's the thing. I usually don't bother exporting the image to PPT, so I miss most of the information from images. This timeline really is the only exception. I use it all the time, as it is the only one I'm aware of that's based on archaeological evidence and historical synchronisms.

Perhaps someone from FL can chime in on why there is no way to zoom in on images/illustrations in books? I constantly find that I'm reading a book and I want to study an charge or graph in the book and I want it just a bit larger. This seems like a very obvious feature but they only way I can is to copy the image, paste it into another application, zoom in to view it, and then come back to Logos. Seems there should be some way to "open" the image in Logos and zoom in. I run into this all the time reading books in Logos - and it's a bit annoying. I keep looking for some double click option or right click option but still none as far as I can tell.

Well, in this case, Logos zoomable images don't 'make the heart grow fonder'. Most appear to be contractual from the Libby days (forced). Some don't bother to set their 'zoom' dimensions at all (just slot the current dimensions and thus no zooming). And others cause repeatable crashes recently.
And they don't maintain any later zoom-code. The L4+ mapping zooms were broke on arrival, and then with Atlas, became seriously broke.
FL mentally is a database company. When they sit in the conference room to decide on 'what next', it's the database boys in charge. Font and page layout people can participate quietly, since 'it's text'.

Blunt but have to agree. It a massive store of data that can be linked extensively but the user interface is beyond lacking.
Unfortunate based on what they charge.

You know as time goes on this becomes even more frustrating. PowerPoint certainly seems to be the best option but seriously....
Logos should have its own viewer with +/- buttons for zoom or at minimum let the user pick the default image viewer.

High resolution images and capable zoom in and out anywhere within an application should be a standard feature in 2023. I wish Logos should make this working soon. However, Logos app on iPad is able to zoom in and out.
Anyway, my quick workaround on Mac is to right click the image and select copy from context menu. Then open "Preview" app and select "File" and "New from Clipboard" that should allow us to zoom in and out the image. My 2 cents. [:)]

Zoomed images let you dream (anti-Logosian policy). Sure, the web. But nothing beats imagining the scribe under severe pressure, the small massorah notes. Thousands (many fragments) years later. Reaching for another sip of your coffee. Zoomed A-Company image to show point where compression intrudes.

Two years later, nothing has happened...
I've created a request on Feedbear. Please vote if you want to have image zoom.

Indeed. I even voted and commented on this, but didn't find it yesterday, since the keyword "zoom" is not in the description.
Can someone from FL please merge the requests?
