Cannot drag and drop in Logos 10
ok, I'm a dolt. I was in the web version, not the desktop. Now I can see everything
I'm brand new to the Logos software and watching training videos. On my first video and I cannot drag and drop (for instance, the Library) from the tool bar to the main part of the page. What am I doing wrong? It looks like it's dragging but when I unclick, nothing shows up

Welcome!
So that I understand your question correctly... You are pressing and holding the library icon, dragging to a spot in Logos, and releasing the mouse button. Is that right? Your goal being to open the library in a certain spot in Logos?
If so, I just repeated this process on my MacBook Air (M1) running L10.1 SR2 and it worked as expected. Which specific version of the engine are you running? Which specific Operating SYstem?0 -

Ah, you accidently posted in the web application rather than the desktop. On the desktop (Win 11) I have no problem with drag and drop. Do you use drag and drop in other applications? If not, are you:
- position over the item you wish to drag
- left click
- hold
- position to drop location
- release left click
You should see a small window or a placement bar, move as you drag. If you do not, you did not successfully grab the item.

oops, didn't realize I was posting in the wrong place. As per what you wrote above, it does look like it's dragging, but when I release the left click, nothing drops. So it drags but doesn't drop. I'm using a wireless mouse, I'll try with my touchpad and see if that works.

So are you getting to something that looks like this? The darker gray indicates where the library is being dropped.

no, I don't get that. There's a very small area around the cursor that is darker grey but not like yours above. It must be a setting I have wrong but I'm unsure how to fix it
