NKJV Access on iPhone, but not on Mac
I just discovered that I can not access the NKJV from the Logos app on my M1 Mac (Ventura), but can from my iPhone.
Any ideas what would cause that?

It is a simple matter of your not owning the resource but having free access to the resource on the mobile app.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

MJ is most likely right. The solution is to buy the Bible. This will also provide you with offline access on your phone. Here is a link:

The resource should show up as unowned.

I don't understand ... why can I access the NKJV on my iPhone if I don't own it? I can't access other bibles I don't own from my iPhone ()NIV, for example).

A number of resources are made available for free with the mobile app - somewhere between around 30 & 70.
These can be read on mobile devices - but can't be downloaded - and are not available in the desktop app unless you purchase it.
I believe - but am not sure - these differences are due to licensing constraints.

It seems that the NKJV is included in the list of "free-to access-on-mobile" resources while the NIV is not

Not sure what you mean DMB
The details you have posted show that the NIV is available on mobile (which it is)
They don't state that the NIV is one of the up to 95-free resources

Agree ... not clear what is being offered. I'd have thought 'those'. But in the lower drop-down, a similar list of what you can buy. It's as if the 'free' availability is being purposely masked. Most copy would be clear to enhance download.

I don't have access to the NIV in Logos on any platform. Mobile, Mac, or web.
I have access to NKJV only on mobile. I finally figured out the search page on the logo website, and verified that I do not own either the NIV or the NKJV.
The fact that I can access NKJV on mobile, but can't access NIV anywhere led me to believe (mistakenly) I owned the NKJV but had some problem on the Mac.
