Dark Mode Legibility
Is there a plan to fix the visibility of highlighted passages in dark mode? This was fixed in the desktop program by making the font black instead of white/grey. Since the mobile app was updated to be more consistent with the desktop program, highlighted passages have become very difficult to read.
Previously dark mode was a quick and dirty fix with the colors essentially inverted. While far from perfect, highlighted passages were at least legible.
This has to be a known issue and I hope a fix is in the works.

Any update on this Dark Mode issue? It's been over 9 months and dark mode highlighting is still unusable.

Could you perhaps provide a screenshot showing your current experience of this? Is this still an issue for you, even if you create a new highlight?

New and existing highlights still exhibit the same behavior. That is the say the light grey font color makes it very difficult to read the highlights.

I think I discovered the root cause. If I have the font styling with "italics" selected, the font shows up as the grey color which is hard to read. But if I change the font styling without italics then the font shows up as black which is much easier to read. So it seems related to font styling. This was repeatable with multiple background colors.
